We have now exited BackTrader mode following the implementation of a resolution for the issue.
Access to the eToro platform is being restored, and we are currently verifying that all services are operating normally. We are closely monitoring the platform to ensure the resolution is fully effective and that trading functionality has returned to normal.
We appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve this issue and will provide a further update once verification has been completed.

Update
To help restore essential trading functionality while we continue working on the ongoing issue, we are activating BackTrader.
During this period, access to the eToro platform will be temporarily restricted. Customers will not be able to access the platform. However, existing positions can still be closed through BackTrader order placing. Opening new positions and placing new orders will remain unavailable until the issue is resolved.
Our team is actively working to resolve the underlying issue and restore normal platform access as quickly as possible.
We understand how important uninterrupted access to the platform is, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We'll continue to keep you updated on our progress here.
Sincerely, The eToro Team

Investigating
We are currently experiencing an issue affecting order placement and live price updates across all instrument types.
Some users may be unable to place new orders, and instrument prices may not update or display current market values. As a result, opening new positions is currently unavailable for affected users.
Existing positions, account balances, and equity remain available. Closing positions remain fully functional. However, some users may need to refresh the platform or restart the app after submitting a close order for the update to be reflected on screen.
Our team is actively investigating the issue and working to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
We understand how disruptive this may be, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We'll continue to keep you updated on our progress here.
Sincerely, The eToro Team
